Four Landscapes Poster in Color and Black and White, Mountains and Rivers

At the top, color. On the left, glacier-blue mountains emerge from the mist above a calm lake, between two shores of fir trees, while a cloud of birds crosses the sky. On the right, a large yellow sun sets behind dark peaks and sets the sky and the lake ablaze with red and orange. At the bottom, color fades away. On the left, a large tree with spreading branches leans over a grey valley where a river winds between dark banks, beneath the silhouette of a small tower perched on the cliff. On the right, pale summits fade into the mist above another stream running toward the bottom of the image.

This poster plays on a rare contrast: bright daylight and twilight, color and monochrome. The two upper panels speak of light, the lower ones of silence. And everywhere, water links the landscapes, still lake or flowing river, like a thread running through the whole composition.

The style combines ink silhouettes, grainy screen-print textures and frayed edges that seem to melt into the cream background. The palette moves from petrol blue and snow white to yellow, orange and red, then to black, grey and off-white.

At Menivora, nature is an invitation to slow down. This poster is a reminder that every landscape has its share of light and its share of shadow, and that both are needed for its beauty.

It will find its place in a living room, hallway, bedroom or study. Its balance between color and black and white makes it easy to fit into a minimalist, Scandinavian or Japandi interior, with light wood, linen or white walls. It is an ideal gift for lovers of mountains, hiking and wide open spaces, and it complements our other minimalist nature posters.

At Menivora, we believe light only makes sense with shadow.
