Mountain and Lake at Sunset Poster

An immense sun above the peaks

A large yellow-orange disc fills the top of the image, behind a range of blue-grey mountains whose summit stays pale. In the foreground, a wooded island stands out in black, bristling with fir trees. At the very bottom, the lake water picks up the colors of the sky and mirrors the silhouettes of the trees upside down.

Warm colors in a watercolor style

The poster rests on a simple contrast: the warmth of orange against the coolness of blue, with the black of the firs to anchor the scene. The irregular outlines of the sun and the water recall the blots of a watercolor. The cream background softens the whole and lets the composition breathe.

The reflection, a moment for yourself

At Menivora, nature is something to look at as much as to reflect on. Here, the lake doubles the landscape and reminds us that it takes calm water to see clearly. It is an end-of-day image, the moment when you stop, take stock and let the noise settle.

Where to hang it?

Its warm tones bring light to a white or beige wall and go well with wood, linen and natural materials. It finds its place in a living room, bedroom, study or entryway. In a small size, it completes a gallery wall; at 50x70 cm or 70x100 cm, it becomes the centerpiece of the wall. As for the frame, wood extends the warmth of the image, black echoes the firs and white blends with the cream background.
