A summit, a circle, silence

In the center of the image, a sharp-ridged mountain stands out against a large pale circle, like a celestial body resting behind the crest. At its feet, mist slips between the valleys and a fir forest frames the scene. A few birds cross the sky and give the whole its movement.

An ink-style black and white

The poster plays only on contrast: the deep blacks of the firs, the blended greys of the mist, the white of the background. The bottom of the composition dissolves into drips and splashes, like an ink drawing. This rendering gives the image character while keeping it understated.
